Abra looked irritated for a moment, but didn't ask farther. It was none of her business after all, and as he did do something to be exiled and wasn't born here, it made sense for him not to want to talk about it. She sat down quietly and wrapped her tail around her to keep Reno from accidentally stepping on it. Not that she thought he would, but enough people have stepped on it before to make her careful when ever it was on the ground without even thinking of it. "So, want are all of these herbs for?" She asked, trying to change the subject to something he was more comfortable with.

Reno finished putting the plants away and turned to her. 'Their a mix of medical herbs and poisons. I use them to work on the cigaretes for one. I use them for alcamy sometimes but not often. Its not that dangerous, even the worst poison can be fixed with the right herbs.' He stopped and smiled at Abra. 'Sorry, I must be boreing you with all this talk.'

"Hm..." Abra replayed simply before looking out of the desert again. Her eyes scanned the darkness out of habit, looking for things that stood out. and testing the air. The smell of cigarettes was still there faintly in the air, but she smelled nothing else out of the norm for her and only the sound of a few distance murmuring of thous few still awake and some snoring. Her ears twitched sightly as the wind blew some sand up from desert floor and she wondered for a moment when, or if a sandstorm might happen sometime in the near future. They had jest entered the right season for them after all.
Out in the distance the slight glint of medal caught her eye and she staired intently in that drecsion, counting silently in her mind not wanting to rase a false alarm. After a minet or two of seeing nothing she relazed again. The air didn't sugest anyone out there.

Reno shruged and looked out at the desert. It realy felt like a sand storm was going to happen soon, most likely tomarrow. He shook his head, it was hard to say when in the desert but soon. 'Might as well hit the sack. We have a long day ahead of us.'

"Yeah..." Abra agreed simply, taking a worn but warm blanket out of her pack and curled up not unlike a dog as she wrapped the blanket around her. She was asleep in moments as she was used to sleeping like this. Even in her sleep though she was in some ways alert. Any noise that told of someone coming or any scent that didn't seem that it belong she would wake up and investigate.

Reno looked at Abra before heading over to his mat and laying down on it. She was accualy alittle cute when she slept and... He shook his head. Dont get any ideas, stick with your own kind. He sighed and went to sleep, planning to wake up before first light so no one would notice his little home when he went down.

About and hour and a half before dawn Abra woke, stretching like a cat before looking around. For a moment, she felt disoriented as it took her a few moments to remember why she was surrounded by a whole bunch of potted plants and why everything smelled jest faintly of cigarette smoke. Memories of Reno quickly came thought and she sat up alert to look for the human. Still asleep as far as she could tell, so she started to pack up her things. Once her blanket was back inside her pack, she walked over to the edge silently, and jumped down. She landed on her feet below without a sound and smiled, before starting to walk over to the main "square" of the camp.

Reno was awake by the time Abra was awake but he made his breathing slow and even, makeing him look asleep. When she jumped down he got up and walked over to the barrer, silently dispite his automail arms. He watched her head to the main square and desended to the ground after geting his coat that boots on and walked after her. Most likely people would need help and he was the first person that people went to mostly.

Abra's ears twitched and she looked over her shoulder to see Reno coming after her. She looked irritated for a moment, as she had left quietly so she wouldn't disturber him, but it seemed he was up anyways. Ignoring him for the moment, she continued on as she was sure they where heading for the same place.

Reno walked into the square and saw that many of the people were gathering. Oh lords please let it not be....blast it it. He saw the elders of both tribes and swore under his breath. One of the elders stepped up to a poduim that had been placed up and started to speek. It was the same thing as it was everytime. The elders speeking about how they reached an agreement with the others and they would now travel as a single tribe. Realy it was quite boreing to Reno and he tuned it out. If it wasnt for the over bearing sun the elders would talk for hours.

Abra looked about the square, indifferent to the news that the tribes where joining together. It jest meant that more people would be group together, less chance of being attacked by raider, but it also meant that it would be harder to find an open spot to sleep. Maybe Reno would share his little mobile home, but she wasn't sure about spending too much time with him. After all, she was a Paratharien and he was a Human. From what she has learned it was better to avoid becoming familiar with Humans. You let down your guard, and soon their using you for their own gain.

Within an hour the tribe had packed up their tents and were moveing across the dunes. Reno was in the back with the less experenced scouts, helping anyone who straggled behind the tribe. Realy most of the scouts here were not well trusted and many were Paraths, that shows the trust of the tribe, at least they had enough horses but still, blast it it. Reno sighed and looked around the dunes. He had a bad feeling, one like right before a raid or a sand storm.

Abra was with the scouts in the back, but she was avoiding the main group. She and one other Parath where far back, and checking out the area that Abra was sure that she had seen the flash of steel the night before. The sighs of someone having been there were clear as day to Abra's eyes, but the Parath with her was having a hard time being convinced. "I'm sure Someone other then you would have noticed if there was someone here." He said, before scanning the horizon to make sure they could still see were the tribe was going. "It was late, and you where probably all asleep." She stated plainly, getting up from the sand to start following the tribe again. The other Parath followed her quickly.
Abra made herself impossible to see despite her dark colored fur, but the other Paratharien made no effort to conceal himself. Then again, he didn't need to as his fur matched the light brown sand perfectly and his clothes where cameoed to blend as well. 'If only he were a little more inteliged.' She thought for herself, but then remembered that if he was smart it would have been hard to convince him to separate from the tribe so often to go check things out.
About fifteen minutes later a dark wall seemed to form on the horizon as a sandstorm whipped up the fine sediment to make it a huge mass that blocked out the sun. Abra muttered a few choice words before dashing for the main group. May of the other Parath's, who eyes were good enough, were attacking on edge and nervous.

Reno saw the wall of sand and got of his horse and claped his hands together before slaming them into the ground makeing two katanas appear. He knew that there was going to be a raid as soon as the sand storm hit. He went to one of the scouts and told him to go to the cousil and tell them that there was going to be a raid. The scout did as he was told while Reno mounted his horse again. 'Be ready! Once this storm hits were going to be under attack.' There were murmers of surprise amounge some of the younger scouts but most of them were ready when the storm hit and they came under attack. [you can control the raiders]

Abra made it to the main group jest as the storm hit. The attack started incentanies with it, giving her the idea that they were either well accustomed to this type of attack or was trained to have this kind of timing. She pulled out her daggers and attacked ruthlessly, taking down one that came up behind her, before she froze as she realized what they were. She had been expecting a group of human, like that ones that came during that night so long ago. Something she could attack without thinking. But no, they were Paraths. Strong and well built giants, wearing armor carefully crafted to not hinder their movements, but could protect them from attack. A feral growl escaped her teeth as she spotted the spiked collars around their neck.
The collar only could mean one thing. Years ago, when they where still young and before the plague, they sold themselves into the normal human society to gain statics there. Yes that meant they belong to someone else, but it also meant that they were well respected in what ever city that came from. After all, insulting the masters dog is likely to get you killed. She had heard of these types of paraths long ago from her parents, who said they wasn't worthy of even the air they breathed. Abra lunged to continue her attack, but strong hands grabbed her from behind and pulled her down to the ground. Her daggers slashed uselessly at the silver armor.
A wolf faced Parath dug his claws into the hide of the horse as he attempted to bring the beast down that Reno was riding. Others horses had already lost their riders in a similar manner.
