Reno looked at Abra in surprise when she threw the dagger. He should have known that she would still fight even when she was so weak to fall into his arms. He almost flinched when she threatened Zeain, she is realy scarey when she wants to be. When she looked at him Reno started off, slow enough that he could catch Abra if she colapsed again but fast enough for her to not complain. He didnt realy care what happened to Zeain right now. The guy better worry about what Dama is going to do. By the time that they reached the surface the sun had already set and it would be easy for them to get to Reno's hideout.

Abra followed Reno, stumbling once of twice though she never collapsed again. Her thoughts where completely focused on following Reno, and making sure the slave didn't try anything again. The boy followed them without question though, keeping his eye down cased. Abra felt a pang of simply for him. Years of slavery had broke him leaving him only wanting to live one day and the next. His eyes drifted to look around at least, so he wasn't completely broken like others.
Abra followed Reno up to his hide out, motioning Zeain to follow. He did, and once he was up there with them, Abra tied his hands together and gaged him as well. It wouldn't keep him from using water, but he wouldn't be making any escape or calling for help.

Reno sighed whenthey were in the hideout, atleast Dama wouldnt be able to get to them now. He waited for the earthquake that would tell that Dama had found out that hey had escaped. 'Three.......Two.....One.' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dama watched the fights closely, it was good to keep an eye out for the ones that would be good slaves if they were spared. She had enough money to buy anyone of the slaves here and then some. She was content with Zeain for now. She saw one of the guards wisper something in to the Don's ear and he grinned before wheeling himself off the platform. A few moments later the guard told her what he had told the Don before geting the hell out of there. Dama erupted a few seconds after the guard left. The cell that Zeain and Abra were in was empty and the guard that was guarding them was missing his sword and was in a light coma. She had simply lost control, going into one of the beserk rages that few humans could obtain. She used her magic to wreak havoic on the gathered crowd and soon the cavern roof burst open like a great volcano, complete with fire and brimstone. The Arena was far enough away from the tribes to make sure none of them cought on fire put it woke up all of the people that were asleep and made a few drunks sober in an instant. By the morning the giant cavern that was once the Arean was no more, completely covered by hardened lava. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Don wheeled himself to the home of his old friend. He opened the door useing his old control over magic and wheeled into the home. "Its good to see you again. I must say, that grandaughter of yours is in safe hands if I think it is who I think it is." In front of the Don was the parath elder. Old comrades in arms perhaps? Who knew.

A mysterious gray cloaked stranger walked into the area and looks at the hardened lava."hmm... where have i seen this before?". walking away puzzled, unknowingly a gray feather falls out of his cloak.

The Elder sighed, blowing a long stream of sweet smelling smoke out of his nose. "Wish I could say the same thing seeing as I'm blind." He said, before laughing. It was a old joke, one that he never really tired of though. What was the point of having a disability that couldn't be laughed at? He paused, smoking for a moment, before putting the cigarette out. "I only hoped I made the right choice. Raven is now free of his dept, and Volmark is one of few now part of both human and parath kin. I've cased my dices and can only hope it doesn't spell my demise." Pausing again, he 'looked' over at The Don. "You know I never approved of the fights you had at the place, but want will you do now that the Arena is gone?" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abra looked towards where the Arena had been, but didn't care. She was tired, hungry, and thirsty, and collapsed in a heap on the floor of Reno's hide out. In a few moment's she was out cold, and sleeping somewhat peacefully. Food and drink would have to wait tell tomorrow.

The Don smiled at the old joke. 'I would gladly trade my eyesite for your legs, this chair is uncomfortable.' He then laughed for a moment, he never could get the joke right, never did. When he heard the name Volmark he raised an eyebrow before smileing. 'So they named him Volmark? Amaseing... I never wanted it to be used like it was but itseems its past cought up to it. Now I think Ill ju....Guh.' In midsylible stoped and started to cough and droplets of blood hit the floor with alarming frequency. After he stopped he wiped his mouth on his sleeve and looked at the Elder. 'We all knew that we werent going to live forever. You know that I am a dieing man, all I ask is for one last request. One last journey. The one to that shrine, I believe I will meet my grandson there.' [OOC: wow. Parts of Reno's origens are being revealed!] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few moments after the strange figure left what was once the Arena Dama burst out of the freshly cooled lava snarleing like a mad cat. She calmed down after a few moments and saw the strange feather. She picked it up and as she held it up to the light it changed into a silver color. She cought the scent of someone off the large feather and she smiled before walking in the direction that the scent went. She had a new toy waiting for her. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reno caught Abra as she fell and gently placed her on the floor before placeing a blanket over her and looking at Zeain. 'Im going to ungag you. If you scream or try to get help Ill cut out your throat before you can scream. Got that?' He undid the gag that was keeping Zeain silent and waited to see what he would do, his hand ready to go to his sword to silence the former slave.

The Elder looked at the Don with an expression of consrin. "Looks as if neither of us shall see another Winter Festival here in Dez. I only wish, that you weren't going to be here for the same reason as I." He sighed deeply, before poring out two dishes of wine. "I'll accompany you. Where exactly is it you would like to go though?" He asked, handing the Don the dish. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeain looked from Reno, toward the arena, before looking back at the human about five time with an expression of pure fear. At the moment, he didn't know if he should be more afraid of Dama, or this person who had come for the Parath. He seemed to care about her, but she jest kinda dragged him along. He assumed that Reno was now technically his master, but didn't that mean that... He didn't know. After a few moments, he sighed and looked down. Avoiding Reno's eyes.

The Don nearly burst out laughing and did after a few moments when the Elder said that it would be their last. "No my friend. It will not be your last. You are just out of your prime while Im restricted to this blast it chair. Besides, you have a tribe to lead and the memories of a family, I only have myself and my regrets." The Don paused to drink the wine before shakeing his head. "I am surprised that you forgot it. Its was the last place where we saw Kana, in that old shrine in your home land. Its almost fitting dont you think? We've gained so much in the last time we were there and were going back to the place where we lost so much." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reno sighed when Zeain didnt scream...or talk for that matter. It accualy made him feel bad for Zeain. 'God,now I feel like a total bastard. Alright, maybe were getting off on the wrong foot here. Im Reno Zoia, and the girl over there and would most likely cut our balls off is Abra. She isnt always like this but she doesnt like to be in cages.' He smiled, he realy didnt want for Zeain to think of him as his master, Abra would kill him and auction off his body parts if she thought he had a slave...if he was lucky.

The Elder laughed slightly. "I'll be appointing an successor once we're back in my homeland. He'll come and take my place. Abra is the only family I have left. I'll be asking her later if she wishes to come with. Strange that you would pick the perfect time to end back there." The Elder sighed, before downing the wine in one go. "Will tomorrow, or the morning in this case, be soon enough for you?" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "ZE..." He paused as he started to give his number, before giving Reno the name Dama had given him. "I'm Zeain." He said simply, not looking up at Reno. Really, now he was even more confused as to what the heck was going on. This sounded more like someone trying to get to know him, then a master, doing what ever. Maybe this guy was different. Or maybe he was jest looking for a reason to slash open his throat. He was confident that he could stop the blade with water if he had to, but didn't think that would score him any points in the staying alive category. One step closer to freedom, but still far from it. It would be a long time before he could even began to understand how things worked, without a master to jest tell you want to do.

The Don smiled when the Elder asked him when he would like to leave. "My friend, I am a dieing man with nothing left to lose. I am ready to leave this second!" It was right then that the wine got to him and he fell backwards and landed on the floor, chair and all. In between hicups his horse voice sounded hourmous, "On second thought I think it might be a good idea to wait till the morning. You didnt tell me you had the Berkand vintage in your collection." Fun fact, The Don is a natural information bank for wines but it takes a while for him to notice the flavor and he usualy ends up on his back in the process. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Nice to meet you then Zeain. Im sorry about the ropes but with Abra, its best to do, expecialy when she is this ticked off.' Reno looked at Abra and checked to see that she was still asleep. 'You can stay here aslong as you want, there is enough room in here for now. Realy, we were afrade that you would scream for Dama, she kind of has a wanting for our deaths. For her, if she cant have it, no one will. Thats what she is like.'

The Elder laughed slightly, before putting away the dishes and the wine. Once that was done he got up and walked over to the Don, picking them up easily, before getting them back in the chair. "Yes... I wouldn't try any of the wine again while where back in my homeland. You passed out for three days last time, after singing drunkenly for a good two day strait. I wouldn't be surprised if there where still stories about you..." The elder sighed some again, before returning to where he had been sitting before. "Your welcome to the guest bedroom in back." He said simply, before going into a half asleep meditative state. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zeain frowned, not sure what to do with that information, before laying on his side and looking up at the sky, amazed at how the stares looked now. Looking at at Reno he laughed slightly. "Death is a.... release." He said simply, before looking back at the sky. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When morning came the sky was completely blacked with clouds, blocking out the light of the sun. The first clouds baring rain had finally shown, but they had not let loses the water yet. Abra was already awake, and the excitement that she held for the air was almost a physical arua around her. Acting more like a playful kitten, she pounced on Reno to wake him up. "Come on, your going to want to go to the Oasis before the drunks wake up with their hangovers and go over their themselves." She said, shacking him lightly, before turning to Zeain. The former slave was still sound asleep, but Abra woke him up in much the same manner. He looked at her confused by the change in her personality, but said nothing. "You going to get our way down ready?" Abra asked Reno, pointing to the sand for him to make the stairs, even though she could easily jump and land on her feet.

Reno jolted awake when Abra pounced on him and he stared at her for a moment before getting up. He was supprised at Abra's quick change. Last night she could hardly stand and now she was bounceing up and down like a kitten. 'Alright. Ill get that done as soon as I tend to my plants. They are starting to die.' After he had watered his plants Reno walked to the edge of his home and jumped down before createing the sand staircase and colpasenig it as soon as they were all down. 'To the Oasis then.' They were soon at the Oasis and it would feel more like a hot spring than an oasis because of Dama's little temper tantrum.

Everyone was drunk which made it easier to take their food and money. She didn't feel very good about it, but she was exhausted and starving. She hadn't eaten in almost two days. She really shouldn't have given her last meal to that crying girl. It was just that the girl seemed hungrier then her at the time. Thorn could hear the girl's stomach even from a distance. Now Thorn felt that she would shrivel up and die at any moment if she didn't get food in her own stomach. Surely it was growling loud enough to wake the dead. It had taken what seemed forever to walk here and after using her foresight earlier that day she had a slight stagger to her walk that made her appear drunk like everyone else. When she had pockets full of food and money she searched for a place to hide where she could eat peacefully. It had been easier to steal from the drunks then it was to steal from others. Plus she didn't feel as guilty taking their food and money. Especially if they were spending there money on something as trivial as wine.

Abra ate something small before going, as she still hadn't eaten anything yet, but was feeling better after spending a night out of the cell. Zeain jest watched the two of them silently not even saying anything as Abra undid his bounds. Once at the Oasis though, he looked confused. He himself had never been either often, but he had memories of the water being cool, almost icly to the touch. Now it seem like it could boil someone alive. Abra looked at it frowning, before turning to Zeain. "Your a water elemental right? Cool it down." She said pointing to the water. He looked at her with shock, before looking to Reno. He didn't see much help coming from him though, so his gaze feel on the water. "I'll try." He simply said, before putting his hand in the hot liquid. He winced in slight pain, before the water around his hand began to cool, and spend out threw the Oasis. It didn't take long before it was to a reasonable, won't cook you alive temp. Abra smiled down at him for a moment, before looking to Reno. "Um... Guess I'll have to go for a few mins. See you two later." She turned away, and went behind some tree before seeing to despaired from view. Zeain watched her go before looking at Reno, unsure as to what this little field trip was for.

Reno was also surprised by how Abra was acting, what was wrong with her... He wasnt sure, never was when It came to Abra. He looked at Abra when she went and tried to think about where she was going. He wasnt completely sure about where everything was in the city but he guessed she was going to the Elder's place. He turned to Zeain and sighed. 'I can never tell what is going on in that woman's head.'
